This
is yet another book I would highly recommend. Bank's does a
thorough job at teaching all that Paul believed and taught concerning
church. It's a book you might want to read a couple of times. He
speaks to the issues concerning how church related to, and. or was influenced
by, Greek, Roman, and Jewish culture. He explains how Paul viewed
church as community. He talks about women's place in church among
many other related issues. This is a good book. It will get
you started on your search for what church is all about from a New
Testament perspective.
