Anyone who is a serious student of the Bible should read this book. It will surely open your eyes to mistakes western world Christians make when interpreting the Bible. The authors speak to linguistic, cultural, historical, and other issues where westerners today differ from those who penned the Bible. Unless we understand the Biblical writers and the times in which they wrote, we'll probably misread the Scriptures.
I
recommend this book for everyone, but I do admit, it may be a bit
technical for some, yet even for those people, much can be
learned.
