About Jesus - Steve Sweetman 60 People Who Shaped The Church by Alton Gansky For those who know little about church history, this is a great book to read to get you on the road to better understanding where church has come from. Gansky takes what he believes are the 60 most influential people in history who have shaped the church. Not all of these people are true born again Christians, as Evangelicals would call them. That being said, many people over the centuries did shape the church, not only for the good but for the bad. Gansky begins his book with the Apostle Peter and ends with Billy Graham. It's not a long book. It's well work reading.
